Shiatsu for Stress Relief

Join us again to gather and relax, unwind and rejuvenate. 

Through the timeless practice of Shiatsu Therapy, Rick Van Hassel - Kinesiologist and Registered Shiatsu Therapist, will facilitate a workshop to ease your spirit and nurture your body. 

During this time of year, in autumn, naturally we turn inwards and seek quietude. Meditational, intuitive and bodywork practices all support this innate need to go inwards to restore and reflect. 

In our workshop we will engage in partner Shiatsu, using thumbs, fingers and palms to stimulate key Acupressure points that help to relax muscles, and open the meridians and joints. The focus of our time together will be in supporting the body's natural healing mechanisms to decrease the stress response, something that Shiatsu excels at, and bring us towards a more balanced state.  

Yes, shoulder and neck work will be highlighted!  

No bodywork exerience is required, although the workshop will certainly appeal to existing Practitioners and Beginners alike.

Time 1:00-4:00 

Investment:  $40 per person or $75 for a pair
